Anxiety is normal. The way we hide it is not.
Anxiety disorders are the most common mental illness in the world. Social anxiety. Panic attacks. Generalized anxiety disorder. We desperately need better models for leadership and a more holistic view of mental health and neurodiversity. Our culture tells those of us who suffer from anxiety or depression that we can’t succeed but we tell a different story -- without sugarcoating the tough stuff. We feature stories from high achievers who manage mental health challenges such as Bipolar disorder, OCD, ADHD, anxiety, or depression and experts who can help you thrive.

I’m someone who has dealt with anxiety and depression for decades. I’m here with you on a journey to delve into how our mental health impacts and enhances our trajectory to success.
We’re all in desperate need for better models of leadership - especially in a society that tells us anxiety and depression are weaknesses, that they’ll prevent us from succeeding. I’m here, though, to tell a different story: Anxiety is normal. It is part of being a leader. Being anxious can, in fact, enhance leadership, creativity, and vision.
Throughout the episodes, you’ll hear from great leaders that are compassionate, empathetic...and emotionally complicated.
We’re not here to sugarcoat, but look at the good, the bad, and everything in between. Along the way, we’ll hope to answer your questions about whether you can achieve all your work dreams while struggling with a mental health issue. And we’ll be here to remind you: ANXIETY IS NORMAL.
